The German Design Awards, presented by the German Design Council, are one of the most prestigious international design prizes in the world. Since 2012, they have been rewarding outstanding entries in product design, communication and architecture. Their track record, participation standards and strict rules for the selection of their winners make them a benchmark. For us, to be able to say that JULIA, developed entirely by Tecsoled, is worthy of such a distinction is a source of great pride.

Two types of luminaires form the basis of the JULIA collection. These products share the simplicity of their design while internally incorporating the power supply, which is perfectly integrated thanks to its compact size. JULIA luminaires can be customised to form dozens of different configurations, although they all share the same excellence, elegance and versatility with which they were conceived.

The simple design of the JULIA I model offers the possibility of combining translucid and opaque diffusers to create exclusive luminaires. The different sections provide a touch of elegance and innovation without losing the essence of the product.

In JULIA II both parts of the luminaire, lower and upper, are made with the same design rules. This makes it possible to easily create luminaires with single or double emissions. The combination of both elements explores an infinite number of possibilities.

The integration in Julia is manifested in 2 ways, on the one hand we dispense with the base brackets and integrate them into the luminaire itself, this creates a piece of pure lines. The height adjustment is made in the ceiling.
On the other hand, the power supply is housed inside, so we can avoid annoying junction boxes, accentuating the minimalist character of Julia.

Simplicity, integration and style have been the design premises for the creation of JULIA. Its rounded and aerodynamic shapes soften the lines and give it a unique character. Its interior is formed by the most compact and advanced electronics, which provides a plus of simplicity and avoids external elements.

JULIA can be adapted to the installation needs of any project. The luminaire can be installed on ceilings, superficially, without fastenings and in the most subtle way possible. Its tensioning cables, for suspended installation, come from JULIA without accessories, directly from its interior, forming a neat ensemble where the main attraction is the luminaire.
The family is completed with the JULIA II model which, as a result of its shape, is able to deliver a highly concentrated beam of light which avoids glare and ensures more direct illumination.
